Nestled along the Chattahoochee River, Rays on the River provided the perfect backdrop for the shoot with its newly renovated lawn and scenic waterfront ceremony space. The natural beauty of the river instantly created a serene and elevated atmosphere, allowing every detail of the design to feel connected to the surrounding landscape.

Creative Direction

The overall creative direction focused on creating an immersive wedding experience that felt artistic, intentional, and inviting without feeling overdone. Rose & Sage Decor brought that vision to life through layered floral installations featuring soft blue, butter yellow, and white blooms including garden roses, hydrangea, butterfly ranunculus, and delphinium. Sculptural floral pillars and organically layered ground meadows framed the ceremony while mixed seating created a modern yet intimate layout overlooking the water.

As guests transitioned into the reception setting, the design continued with a romantic serpentine-style tablescape layered with gathered draping, taper candlelight, textured accents, and thoughtful tabletop styling. The Vintage Dish Girl elevated the reception with vintage-inspired plateware, goblets, flatware, champagne details, and curated decorative accents that added depth and nostalgia to the design. Stylish furniture pieces and layered linens from TLC Rents helped create an inviting atmosphere throughout the space, while soft seating moments added warmth, comfort, and a modern lounge-inspired touch to the overall experience. Every layer of the table and reception design felt timeless and personal while still maintaining a refined editorial feel.

The bridal fashion and beauty perfectly complemented the soft summer aesthetic. Carrie’s Bridal Collection styled the bride in a timeless satin A-line gown featuring off-shoulder straps, delicate pearl accents, and a romantic silhouette that felt effortlessly elegant. Demi Muse Artistry created a radiant bridal makeup look centered around glowing skin, glossy lips, and softly dramatic eyes for a polished natural glam finish. The look was completed by Mane Design by Brenda with soft Hollywood-inspired waves styled into a romantic half-up hairstyle that added movement and softness to the overall bridal look.
